Accessibility
At Greenhill Primary School, we are committed to providing an inclusive environment where all pupils can participate fully in school life and achieve their potential.
We work proactively to identify and remove barriers that may affect disabled pupils and make reasonable adjustments to ensure they can access the curriculum, the physical environment and the wider opportunities available at school.
Our Accessibility Plan sets out how we will continue to improve access over time. It focuses on three key areas:
- increasing access to the curriculum and wider school life;
- maintaining and improving access to the physical environment; and
- ensuring information is provided in accessible formats where required.
We recognise that disability and special educational needs (SEND) are not the same, although some pupils may be both disabled and have SEND. We work closely with pupils, parents and carers, staff and relevant professionals to understand individual needs, identify barriers and ensure appropriate support and reasonable adjustments are in place.
Our Accessibility Plan is reviewed regularly to ensure it reflects the needs of our school community and our duties under the Equality Act 2010.Accessibility Plan 2026-27
