Every school day must have two sessions divided by a break. The length of each session, break and the school day is determined by the school’s governing body. The governing body has the power to revise the length of the school day as it sees fit. There is no requirement to consult parents on revisions to the school day.
Prior to the coronavirus pandemic our session times were :
|Session times are:|
|EYFS and Key Stage 1||9.00 – 12.00 am||1.00 – 3.30 pm|
|Key Stage 2||9.00 – 12.00 am||1.00 – 3.30 pm|
The children are asked to arrive at school no more than ten minutes before the start of their school session, for safety reasons. Children are encouraged to be on time as this ensures a good start to the school day. Persistent lateness may result in the involvement of the School Attendance Officer.
The children enter school between 8.50am and 9.00am and leave school at 3.30pm unless they are taking part in an authorised after school activity.
During the current pandemic we have had to stagger drop off times, collection times and lunchtimes. These changes have been shared with parents and are subjcet to ongoing review.
